Failed Shift Switch

Took the boat to Keystone today. Backed into the water and nothing happened when I turned the key. Trouble shooting has found that the shift switch in the single lever control unit. Started looking for a replacement and the result is nothing. The parts are discontinued. So, I am looking for an appropriate replacement part and or if I can make something. Maybe a couple of micro switches on a plate. Not sure. Will have to work on making something up.
